Hello, 2019.

I suppose I’m 20 days late of a post year review but like the proverbial saying.. better late than never! Happy New Year to all, I hope 2019 hasn’t knocked you down yet, but if it has, fret not, you still have 345 more days to set things in the right path.

2018 to me was one helluva simple year in terms of my career. My highlight would probably be receiving the opportunity to emcee for an event by JFE Engineering. Taking up the project was an intimidating prospect as I don’t emcee very often but I’m glad to have accepted the offer and also received commendations after it. I really admire the company’s innovations as they work to create a sustainable environment for everyone. Thank you, JFE Engineering, and I hope to work together again in the future.

Beyond that was my usual scriptwriting here, proofreading there, and copywriting for various clients. Also been helping friends with their resumes so thats another reason to continue with heizeline.com as it feels good to help others (yes I know, cliché, but true!).

This year, my site turns 3 years old. And with every year that passes, I will think of new ways to improve it. For those that have been following me for the past 3 years, you’ll notice that my site now has a new look. I’m not sure if it’s a positive improvement from the previous look but feel free to leave any feedback on the contact page! Yes, I have one of those cool-ass enquiry forms now, hehe.

On top of that, I also have a new addition to my current suite of services – Website Design & Development. (Through WordPress only though, but no worries, with 30% of the world’s websites powered by WordPress, it ain’t a bad idea to utilise my WordPress skills for those who need to create a website.)

I will also get back to blogging, but this time, with more personal articles and less of the business-y ones as requested. This includes places, people, life, travels. This move will be good as I get to practice on my writing too, I think I’ve gone a bit rusty.

So stick around for more updates, and I pray you don’t get bored with me yet. :]
